Protecting you
Be alert about fraud events during COVID-19. During this unprecedented national health emergency, fraudsters will continue to take advantage of the situation. Remember that the Melvin Savings Bank will not reach out via phone or text to you to request personal information. Scammers are reaching out via text messaging or phone and requesting confidential information such as User ID and Passcode to gain access to their internet banking. Fraudsters have even been known to have spoofed the caller ID of a financial institution so that the message appears to originate from the financial institution. If you should have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to call us. Please be extra cautious during this time to keep yourself safe.
Protecting you from unauthorized use of your debit or credit card is a top priority at the Melvin Savings Bank. In preparation of your travels, please contact us when using your MSB debit or credit card away from your home area. Letting us know before you travel, will allow us to update cell phone numbers so we can either contact you about purchases in question or authorize purchases on your behalf.
